We’re looking for a Responsibility Manager (Maternity Cover – 7 Months) at our Amsterdam HQ, 32 hours per week, starting November 2026.

In this role, you’ll lead our Responsibility team (a Specialist and an Intern) to drive positive change across our value chain, keeping our environmental and social impact strategy moving forward while managing company-wide sustainability initiatives.
What our Responsibility Managers do
- Drive strategy & compliance, manage our ESG strategy and ensure compliance with evolving EU legislation (e.g., PPWR, EU Forced Labour) while maintaining B Corp compliance for our next recertification.
- Lead carbon accounting & climate action, direct our Climate Working Group, oversee decarbonization efforts toward Science Based Targets, and support carbon accounting annual reporting.
- Champion product & supply chain integrity, oversee responsible procurement, ensure supply chain due diligence across all tiers, and collaborate with Design and Sourcing to verify low-impact material data.
- Embed standards in retail & operations, integrate environmental standards into new store fit-outs and monitor operational impacts across energy, water, and waste.
- Pioneer innovation & circularity,drive circular economy initiatives, material innovation research, and circularity reporting.
- Lead communications & team culture, empower the Responsibility team, represent the function in Management Team sessions, and act as our internal spokesperson to translate complex ESG data into clear stories.
You have
- Relevant experience, 5+ years in corporate sustainability/ESG, ideally within fashion, retail, eyewear, or consumer goods.
- Technical know-how, hands-on experience with Scope 1–3 carbon accounting, decarbonization strategies, LCA/ESG data platforms, and preferred materials.
- Regulatory expertise, deep knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks (PPWR, EU Forced Labour) and B Corp standards.
- Leadership track record, experience leading a team and driving cross-departmental projects with dynamic stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, fluent English with executive-level stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate data into action.
What we offer
- The salary range for this role is €55,000 – €65,000 gross per year based on full-time, including 8% holiday allowance. The salary within this range depends on years of experience.
